What we pour
Everything comes back to two things: a shot that's dialled in properly, and a blend that actually tastes like it's from around here.
The drink that gave the Pod its name. A tight double ristretto shot against a small measure of steamed milk in a 70ml glass — all the punch of an espresso, softened just enough to make it the one regulars order without even looking at the board.
Roasted locally for Piccolo Pod, our house blend is built to hold up in milk without losing its backbone — chocolatey, balanced, and consistent whether it's pulled at Junction Place or out at Killara. Ask the crew what's on single-origin this week, too.

Built to last, not just to look good
A shipping container is already a second life for a steel box built to move cargo. We figure the coffee inside it should be just as considered.
We buy from growers who get paid fairly for what they produce, not just whoever's cheapest that month. Good coffee starts with someone being treated properly at the other end of the supply chain.
Every takeaway cup, lid and straw is fully compostable. No plastic lining hiding in a 'paper' cup, no greenwashing — just something that actually breaks down.
From the beans we roast to the containers we pour from, we offset the footprint. It's a small shipping box doing an outsized job, and we'd like to keep it that way.
